C. ipv6 autoconfig
D. ipv6 address 2001:db8:2222:7272::72/64

Answer: D

Explanation

An example of configuring IPv6 on an interface is shown below:

Router(config)# interface fastethernet 0/0
Router(config-if)# ipv6 address 3000::1/64

Question 7

What is known as “one-to-nearest” addressing in IPv6?

    Q2 Answer C is wrong!!!.

  2. jevdawg
    September 29th, 2014

    FR C is correct you know A is wrong because ipv6 uses the following structure [global prefix:subnet id:Interface id}

    B is right because you know each IPV6 Interface can have a global, loopback, linklocal etc.

    C. is correct because every ipv6 interface does have at least one loopback ::1

    D. We all know that D could never be right because ipv6 doesn’t require leading zeros.

    Hey I find the ans to Q8 wrong everywhere! It should be NAT as one of the choices, because with IPv6 there is no need of NAT/PAT.
    Why and how can everyone miss that??!!??

    @Amri Kitwana the first numbers ie: 32768, 32769 are the priority numbers lowest priority wins. if priority matches then root selection goes by MAC addresses ie: 11-22-33-44-55-66, 22-33-44-55-66-77. the lowest mac address wins.

    Q5 is in the wrong section btw

    guru, option b just has 6 field, and ipv6 address has 128 bits. If you multiplied 6 * 16 that field only has 96 bits, that isn’t an ipv6 address

    @razor, that depends. If you’re new to field and you can’t afford failure and want certainty you can take the two test route. It’s a good way to fully understand the material without feeling overwhelmed.
