Failed my first attempt on CCNA exam. Lots of tricky questions (although they all are here on 9tut, I believe), I only got 1 subnetting question and 1 SIM (ACL2). Studied from 9tut resources and books, but fell short. I feel the questions asked did not cover all topics, just heavy on multiple choices, I only used one third of the sheet given…just to show that almost all questions were multiple choices.

i passed my ccna exam today with 958/1000. all of the questions were nearly from 9tut . Thanks a lot.

1. ACL 1 is same as 9tut
2. ACL 2 is too same ( mod 3 ) host D and with changed IP :-)
3. EIGRP change IP as number 122 but Router with changed Name.

The exam was 51 questions, no Drag and Drop.

I passed my ccna[200-120] by today with 1000/1000…..
Its very easy to clear the exam three simulation are there ACL1, ACL2,EIGRP as same as its in 9tut……
be clear of every questions of 9tut,and another two pdf matthew and watson………
Tats enough to get full score buddies……

guys if in exam they are asking to give access to public server with the specified ip address , what exactly I need to do shall I give access to the specified ip address or to any any in the sim acl1.
Please suggest …

passed today with 986, missed something on IP services (80%, the rest was 100%)
Discovered this site only 2 days ago, so I wasn’t really able to do more that try once the labs/try 80% or so questions.

Anyway found quite a lot of questions in the real test (so THANKS !!), made it more easier.

Got the ACL2,spent 30min on it, I wasn’t able to input the command “access-list 100 permit etc.” & all the other commands .. alway getting “Invalid input”, ? wasn’t working, etc.
I was trying & trying & getting really frustaded & almost ready to click on Next .. then I realized that I didn’t wrote “conf t” & didn’t have the config> prompt .. ooopppssss … quite embarrassing … :-)

scenario was like this site, host B, public web IP was provided but I wrote “access-list 100 permit ip any any” instead of “access-list 100 permit ip any host public_web_IP” & apparently it’s OK .

Then ACL1, answer 4 questions like this site.

finally the EIGRP, good AS was 112, on the wrong router was 22
1 “network x.x.x.x” was missing on the main router interface to the new one(for the adjacency).
Not so clear on this site (at least to me), you have to solve the issues & modify the cfgs to make it works (not answer some questions)

Got only 1 drag & drop, a drawing of a network and place DCE, DTE, digital line, router, CSU, etc. at the correct place.

P.S.: just a suggestion for the site, perhaps put answer & explanation on a different page(like link at the bottom)? Right now when I wanted to test myself, my eyes were too often going directly to the answers ..;-)

Don’t forget to save the running config as startup configuration. I didn’t do this part for the EIGRP (mismatch AS number and no network command)! I was in a hurry didn’t realize you need to save the running config as startup config thinking you can’t save, but the popup was telling me to save it as startup config, as I caught this on the ACL sim (I only got 2 sims…which is weird as others are getting 3 sims!) but too late since you can’t go back to the previous questions.

I got 972! Most of the questions were about ACL and VLANs. 3 drag and drop questions. Most of the questions from 9tut. 3 labs (acl1, acl3 and eigrp)

I recommend to study questions from 9 tut, as well as tutorials and labs.

Hello guy, tested on 04/03/2015. The exam was good. Passed very well. Thanks to 9tut. Sim were Acl, acl2, eigrp. Just read your Questions carefully.

I just passed ICND 1 and started studying for ICND 2, My Question is Since ICND 2 contains more question then CCNA on 9tut, Should I also study CCNA website questions with ICND 2?

Do you think there might be questions from CCNA (questions list) on ICND 2 exam?

@Anon: No, you don’t have to. Study ICND2 questions on 9tut.net is enough to pass but if you want to gain more knowledge then you should learn both.

is the syllabus still same for the exam.. i mean i was taught more topics then what i can see now in the 9tut home page. Are these bits in the site enough to pass the exam.. ??

Today I pass the exam with 1000 marks.
ACL1 the same as sim, ACL2 mod3(ip address changes, i use “permit ip any any” instead of “permit ip any host @.@.@.@) and EIGRP(one extra network command we don’t need is there. So, I use NO network @.@.@.@ to delete that network from EIGRP 112).

ALLHUMDULILLAH !! Cleared my exam
But made a blunder by not saving ACL2 Lab . Please write the save command , System will ask you config or startup .. i wrote startup and entered it for 2nd lasb (EIGRP) But missed this process for ACL2 Lab even though got 917 marks . All material was from dumbs/9tut
ACL1 lab was as it is . No Drag drop question . This forum is great and helped me alot

Hi, passed today with 958, all question without exeptions were in the 9tut questions. Just read the questions and the responses carefully and don’t be nervous, there’s enough time to do the exam.
