I have a question about ACL2 mod 1. When we deny host B access to other servers, how did we determine the address 172.22.242.16 as the address to block?

  10. Gurpartap singh
    September 28th, 2014

    Hey LES123

We determined the address 172.22.242.16 by checking the range of IP addresses.

The range is from 172.22.242.17 to 172.22.242.30

Further we can calculate that Network address for this range will be 1 minus first usable ip address. i.e. 172.22.242.17 – 1 = 172.22.242.16 So this is the network address which we need to block.

Passed with 972/1000. Thank you 9tut for excellent materials!
Learned with 9tut, last 3 weeks did Watson dumps and practiced ACL1&2 and EIGRP with Packet Tracer. I took me 3 months of preparing (every day after work at home).
49/51 questions I’ve already seen on 9tut and Watson.
One question I can’t remember, the other was something like this (WITH OTHER NUMBERS AND STATES):

    Port-channel: Po1
Age of the Port -channel = 0d:00h:02m:37s
    Logical slot/port = 2/1 Number of ports = 2
    GC = 0×00010001 HotStandBy port = null
Port state = Port-channel Ag -Inuse
    Protocol = LACP
    Port security = Disabled

    Ports in the Port-channel:

Index Load Port EC state No of bits
    ——+——+——+—————— +———–
    0 00 Fa0/0 Active 0
    0 00 Fa0/1 Active 0

The question was what is the port security state and port number (or something like this):
    A. Static, 2
    B. Desirable, 2
    C. Active, 1
    D. Static, 1

Don’t know if I answered correctly (my answer was Static, 2). Hope I helped. Good luck to everyone!

Hi Anonymous, what is the question in the OSPF Simulation and is there a new Simulation for EIGRP? Thank’s

  21. Anonymous
    September 29th, 2014

For OSPF & EIGRP simlets, questions about why routers are not forming neighbors. Only show commands are used.

    good evening everyone.

After three months studying books, videos, and tests, dumps watson \ examtut, and 9tut, managed to pass the CCNA.

all questions are on 9tut, OSPF and EIGRP LAB least, only with show running-config had to answer several questions, for example, verify because the routes were not being made,

Finally, I had the ACL / ACL2 and simple mod 2, EIGRP 212

in my opinion should study hard and understand the concepts, not memorize answers after the exam because changing the order of the answers, but the concept is the same,
Do not give up, do good time management in the exam, and plenty of good luck,
thank you for everything, thank 9tut

Are there any changes in exam ? everybody here is talking about ospf..

  41. Anonymous
    September 30th, 2014

I passed the ccna 200-120 exam yesterday. Most of the questions were here at 9tut and watsons dumps. ACL 1, ACL 2 (host B) and EIGRP (AS 222). I was surprised to see OSPF and another EIGRP sim in the exam but managed to answer the questions, you only need to use show commands to find the answers. The OSPF is composed of 6 routers, 2 routers have the same router IDs, others have hello & dead timers and area mismatch. Also using PPP authentication for the interfaces. I think i saw the same scenario in ICND1/2 sim samples. Check it out. Thanks and Good luck!
